Making a fire escape by hand is a daunting task that requires quite a bit of skill and patience, so I wanted to offer an easy solution for those of us who might not have those skills and patience!

This fire escape kit can be assembled in under a minute without any glue. I modeled this kit to be assembled with minimal effort and no glue in case you want to take it apart and use the pieces for something else — maybe you want the Hulk to grab a railing and swing it at someone! The pieces are designed to slide into channels that hold them snugly in place.

This kit consists of a slatted floor, a front rail section and two side sections. There are also two small corner brackets that help to hold the panels in place, and there are two angle brackets that help support the weight of the fire escape once you mount it on your diorama’s backdrop. I would recommend using hot glue to attach the fire escape to your diorama wall, but other glues would work as well, or you could even use magnets with a little creativity.

The fire escape measures 7 1/2″ wide, 3 1/4″ deep, and 6 3/4″ tall (including the angle brackets). It is perfectly sized for Marvel Legends, MacFarlane Toys, and NECA action figures. 1/10 and 1/12 figures work perfectly with this balcony.
